Just spreading the word about a local event happening this Sunday at Rhino Records
2028 Westwood Blvd (3 blocks south of Santa Monica Bl, not in Westwood Village!)
12 noon - 4 pm

It's the Independent Press & Music Expo, which I always find a lot of fun. There will be 30 tables of independent publishers of Magazines (Zines), Comics, Music, as well as 3 bands performing.

Zines are an excellent way to get reviews if you've got an independent CD out. Bring a stack of CDs to give away to the publishers, they are usually VERY receptive to new music! Also, make sure to introduce yourself to Bill Leibowitz of Golden Apple, (who is co-sponsering the event), he is planning on making these Sunday afternoon expos a regular event and will be booking bands for future dates.

The next date will be Sunday March 21st - The Rock & Roll Flea Market and Record Collector's Expo. Call me if you want me to arrange your own vending table to sell your CDs at this event, (or your old vinyl collection, or anything else!). Come on down and promote yourself! We wanna build this into a regular event with word of mouth, so spread the word, tell your fans, bring your friends!
